We are looking for a part time office assistance. We are looking for 6-8 hours a week $20h. We are a centre that supports individuals with diverse abilities. This would be a great position for a semi retired person or someone looking to add some extra hours of work. This is a growing position so more hours will be available as the centre moves forward.

Some of the tasks you may be asked to do as an office assistant include:

- Help to maintain records
- Organize files
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Advertise
- Help to update and maintain social media sites and the webpage
- Answering and making phone calls
- Filing learner work
- Scanning learner work
- Helping to create and maintain accurate records
- Helping to create and maintain protocols, procedures, and manuals
- Ordering supplies online
- Running errands
- Assist and keep track of staff payroll and create invoices
- Create invoices for billing and submit to the correct agency/portal

Your Qualifications Include:

- Ability to navigate all computer programming and technology with ease including Microsoft programme on both Mac and PC.
- Ability to work independently, and follow instructions in a timely, well-organized manner.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Must obtain a clear CRC.
- Ability to work with some noise. We are a learning centre and the office space is not entirely quiet.
- At least one year of experience preferred.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-8 per week

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
