KGC Fire Rescue Inc. is a small but busy operation that provides sales, service & training to fire & rescue organizations. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Office & Accounting Assistant to join our team part time, with potential for advancement.

**This position would entail the following, but is not limited to**:

- Accounts Receivable/ Payable
- Credit card reconciliations
- Office organization
- Updating CRM program
- Preparing & updating service & sales documents
- Updating inventory tracking systems
- Assisting with various tasks
- Secondary school **(required)**
- Experience with Sage50, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook **(required)**
- Ability to type 55 WPM minimum **(required)**
- Experience in an office setting (preferred)
- Accounting experience (preferred)
- Familiarity with the fire service is helpful but not required
- Highly organized, detail oriented & efficient
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks
- Good attitude and able to work as part of a team

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-24 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nanaimo, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)
