**Job Title: Business Development Representative**

Hollingsgate Recruitment is working with a reputable Managed Service Provider in search of a passionate and highly motivated Business Development Representative to help expand our customer base. This role offers a flexible 8-hour workday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. Join our fast-growing Information Technology Service Provider, boasting a 29+ year history, and become a key player in our success story. We act as the outsourced IT Department for businesses of all sizes, managing their technology needs and ensuring smooth operations 24×7/365.

**Responsibilities**:

- Qualify leads and engage in initial conversations to understand business needs and challenges
- Schedule discovery meetings (First Time Appointments) for Sales Consultants with qualified prospects
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective outreach strategies and campaigns
- Follow up on marketing campaigns
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
- Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest
- Maintain and expand the database of prospects
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system
- Register qualified leads for seminars and other events
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Continuously learn and stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and the MSP's services to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the IT or technology industry
- Recent (within the last 2 years) B2B cold calling experience (1-2 years minimum)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-motivated and driven with a passion for sales and exceeding targets
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding goals and sales targets
- Confident and goal-oriented, comfortable engaging all levels of an organization (VP, C-Suite executives, and sales leaders)
- Success in building long-term customer relationships by establishing trust and credibility
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales prospecting tools is a plus
- Knowledge of Managed Services and IT solutions is preferred but not required
- Reside in the Greater Toronto Area

**Salary Range**:

- Hourly Wage: $22 - $28/hour, depending on experience

**Additional Benefits**:

- Flexible schedule
- On-site parking

**Schedule**:

- No weekends

**Supplemental Pay Types**:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
