**Summary**

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the daily administration of Human Resources activities including, recruitment, and onboarding, pension and benefits administration, performance management administration, absence tracking, assisting with training compliance, employee communications and employee wellness initiatives.

**Job Duties**
- Provides day-to-day administrative support to the HR Business Partner and Manager
- Works closely with the HR Business Partner and managers to arrange and conduct onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Attend weekly manpower scheduling meetings with plant management and report on manpower changes. Make any necessary updates in the HRIS systems
- Maintain and update job descriptions as necessary.
- Ensure employee pension and benefit information is updated, complete reporting andact asthe contact for employees’ pension and benefit questions.
- Maintain training records and training matrices. Keep employee records current.
- Assist the HR Manager and Business Partner with grievance, arbitration, and contract negotiation preparation. This includes tracking grievance information, preparing discipline notices and research.
- Support the HR Business Partner and HR Manager with any workplace investigations.
- Work with the HR Manager and Business Partner on Employee Engagement initiatives.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 5 years (preferred)
