**Position Overview**
Are you a motivated individual with a passion for leadership and operational efficiencies? The Bottle Depot is a rapidly growing company that is seeking flexible applicants to train into the Depot Manager Position that would be open to relocating within BC to manage new depots In this role, you will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills necessary to manage our current depots effectively. If/When a new depot is acquired, you will be transferred and appointed the permanent manager of that location. Your performance will be evaluated quarterly with opportunities for bonus earnings based on key performance metrics.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Leadership & Training**:
- Responsible for supervision and training of depot staff.
- Practice effective management techniques and operational strategies.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and efficiency.
- Conduct interviews to build your team.
**Operational Efficiency**:
- Monitor and support daily depot operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Identify areas for process improvement and assist in implementing changes.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and resources to optimize operational performance.
- Produce weekly schedule for your depot.
**Depot Maintenance & Cleanliness**:
- Ensure the depot meets high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce depot cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
**Accuracy & Audits**:
- Oversee and perform regular audits to ensure accuracy in bottle counting and inventory.
- Address discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are taken as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
**Safety**:
- Promote a culture of safety within the depot.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are adhered to by staff.
- Conduct safety training and maintain a safe working environment.
- Document all workplace injuries or close calls.
**Customer Service**:
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any customer issues or concerns.
- Ensure customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements based on feedback.
**Internal Reporting**:
- Prepare and review internal reports on depot performance metrics.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Complete all daily and weekly paperwork.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:
- Cash handling: 5 years (required)
- Key Holder: 5 years (required)
- Supervising experience: 3 years (required)
- Managing inventory: 3 years (preferred)
- Managerial: 3 years (required)
