**Summary**

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager is a key member of the team that is committed to building an exceptional employee experience. This role manages the human resource operational functions, including HR administration, labour relations, employee relations, recruitment/onboarding, training, and development, as well as interpreting and administering policies, programs, and procedures. The successful incumbent will also act as a resource and functional expert to divisional teams, management and employees. This is a leadership role that represents HR operationally at a leadership level to ensure HR is aligned and driving towards the operational needs of the organization.***

**Position Description**
- Provides recruitment and selection support to designated client groups by working with hiring managers to define job specifications, determine recruiting method(s), gather and screen applicant resumes, conduct screening interviews, coordinate hiring manager interviews and ensure the integrity of the recruitment process.
- Represents the organization at employment related legal hearings and investigations.
- Advises and assists departmental managers on the interpretation and administration of HR policies, programs, and best practices.
- Conducts research, data analysis, benchmarking, measuring and report preparation specific to effectiveness of HR processes.
- Consults on issues related to workplace relations and performance management.
- Participates in the delivery of both national and local Human Resources strategies.
- Assists managers with the modernization of HR services and the management of change.
- Writes and presents comprehensive and professional Human Resources advice and support service as well as information briefings over a wide range of HR related topics.
- Facilitates formal communication and consultation processes with staff ensuring appropriate involvement of all stakeholders.
- Analyzes information and makes recommendations regarding individual and organizational situations.
- Creates and disseminates training programs to meet legislative compliance and/or organizational training needs.
- Proactively understands the customer/client, anticipating needs. Gives high priority to customer satisfaction.
- Develops creative solutions and innovative approaches, initiates change and takes calculated risks.
- Other related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Understands organization structure and systems, and the impact of social and economic drivers; can influence change through the appropriate use of organizational development methods.
- Promotes interventions and works with others when it is appropriate to the business, in order to collaborate on problem solving, developing new ideas or opportunities.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources Management.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Human Resources Manager (in a generalist capacity), multiple region or site oversight.
- Experience relevant to recruitment & selection, on-boarding, training and development, and employee/labour relations.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word; intermediate Excel and PowerPoint).
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Able to travel within local B.C facilities (approximately 20%).
- Effective written and verbal communication that gains acceptance of ideas while involving others, building constructive and effective relationships.
