We are looking for a Human Resources Manager for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resources practices and processes in our organization. HR manager is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your HR manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management.

**Responsibilities**:

- Human Resources manager is responsible for overall management of all key areas of Human Resources function.
- Provides leadership and consultation to Management in the areas of recruitment and selection, employee retention, performance management, salary and performance review, coaching and development, and policy/legislation awareness.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Effective and efficient administration in the areas of employee records, WCB/WSIB claims management, compensation, benefits and other employment programs. Payroll and benefits administration.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Coach Managers for managing employee relation and retention.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Develop and Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum five years of progressive experience in mid size organization or related fields
- Graduate degree in Human Resources Manager or a related field with best practices
- Demonstrate advanced customer focus, judgment, analytical skills, critical thinking and communication skills required
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- People-oriented and results-driven
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
- Good understanding of labor relations and Ontario labor laws
- Proficiency of both speaking and writing in **CHINESE is a MUST**
