**Human Resources Manager**

Homesol Building Solutions delivers energy assessments, modelling, ratings, labels and verified building energy solutions for residential new construction or retrofit projects in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Prince Edward Island. The company has over 100 employees and it continues to grow.

Reporting to the two owners, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the employment lifecycle of Homesol’s team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Creation of Job Descriptions
- Managing the hiring process, including analyzing the need for new positions, advertising open positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating and conducting interviews, conducting background checks, and drafting employment agreements
- Managing the onboarding process for new employees
- Maintaining up to date personal information and files
- Administering employee benefits
- Maintaining the Org Chart
- Creating policies and procedures
- Overseeing Health and Safety for all provinces in which Homesol operates with the support of a third party contractor
- Tracking employee performance documentation and overseeing bi-annual employee review process
- Working closely with Bookkeeper and Accountant
- Addressing personnel-related issues
- Handling or being involved with disciplinary matters
- Managing Equipment - distribution and shipment, including business cards and clothing
- Managing the offboarding of employees

**Qualifications**:
Highly detail-oriented, able to work independently, multi-task, enjoy communicating with other staff at all levels. Excellent skills in written and verbal communication. Possess a bachelor’s degree and a HR Diploma. Experience working in HR a benefit, as well as bilingualism.
