With an emphasis on relationships and customer service, Jones Electric of Kitchener leads the way for excellence with experienced electricians and quality electrical workmanship. Through residential renovations, retrofitting and electrical maintenance of older commercial buildings, we manage projects thoroughly from start to completion.
As the Office Administrator, you will be a key member of our team - responsible for making sure our busy office runs smoothly while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
Office Management
- Administer all customer files
- Uphold, create, and adjust office procedures
- Help set up accounts for new employees
- Track staff certifications and arrange for training as needed
Reception and Customer Service
- Manage the front desk, warmly greeting all guests
- Answer phone calls, responding to customer questions, and relaying messages to other staff
- Review quotes and relay information to customers
- Create work orders
- Liaise with third-party vendors
Scheduling and Billing
- Maintain a short turn-around time for customer billing, with a high degree of accuracy
- Process customer payments
**Required Skills & Experience**
- College diploma in Office Administration or equivalent experience
- Passion for customer service and accuracy
- Highly organized
- Able to manage time and multiple priorities to accomplish a variety of tasks
- Affinity to numbers
- Able to maintain discretion with confidential information
- Experience with Google Drive, Excel, Word, Quickbooks. Previous working experience with Time & Materials considered an asset.
This is a full-time 13 month contract position at our office in Kitchener. Office hours are 8 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday.
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 13 months
**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
