Signage Production Lead

To facilitate our growth, we are currently seeking an experienced full-time **Production Lead** with proficiency in both sign and graphic production and installation that is looking for an exciting opportunity to be a business builder.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
As the **Production Lead**, you will oversee the production process to ensure all signage projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Your role will involve coordinating production schedules, managing resources, and implementing quality assurance measures, as well as rolling up your sleeves to help your team get key projects completed on time.

We are looking for someone with highly developed technical skills, exceptionally organized, detail focused and an ability to plan and troubleshoot product fabrication and installation from the get-go to help avoid costly mistakes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the production & installation team.
- Actively hands-on involved in execution of projects, including fabrication and installation, when needed.
- Ensure production schedules are met and products are delivered on time.
- Maintain high standards of quality control throughout the production process.
- Operate and maintain various sign-making equipment, including large format printers, vinyl cutters, and CNC machines.
- Train and mentor production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the design and sales teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
- Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Continuously seek ways to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a production lead or similar role, preferably in a sign shop or manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sign shop or similar production environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficiency in using production equipment and tools; familiarity with sign-making software is a plus.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices in a production environment.

Pay: $32.50-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
