_**Overview**:_

**General Administrative Duties**:

- Answering phones and transferring calls accurately.
- Managing couriers including receiving packages and distributing them in a timely manner, sending packages as required, maintaining records of courier transactions, and reconciling records with invoices when required.
- Processing mail in a timely and accurate manner.
- Preparation of documents as instructed including photocopying.
- Preparing paperwork for filing by organizing items as instructed.
- Maintaining office supplies including organizing / keeping tidy storage areas, always ordering office supplies ensuring that supplies are replenished before running out.
- Maintaining coffee supplies including organizing the kitchen area (including dishwashing), ordering / buying supplies.
- Managing Board room bookings.
- Responsible for maintaining the tidiness of all common areas of the office.
- On an as-required basis, assisting all other departments as needed (prioritizing will be paramount) including completing tasks as requested by the various personnel in these departments.
- Other duties as needed and assigned from time to time.

**Payroll &/or HR**:

- Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Collaborate with the necessary teams to ensure all timecards are entered and approved in order to enter and balance them in a timely manner.
- Review and submit weekly payroll processing.
- Assisting in onboarding of new employees and registration of their new hire information.
- Receive and distribute all forms of paper correspondence.
- Organize, maintain, and coordinate office documentation into paper and electronic files.
- Prepare invoicing from work orders and send to customers.
- Responsible for coordination, verifying, sorting, handling, and entering accurate data regarding demographics and other information.
- Ensuring client files and office records are accurately entered and up to date with all the necessary information.
- Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now would be an asset.

**Accounting**:

- Manage Accounts Receivable and Payables
- Invoice clients
- Prepare reports ad hoc, as required

**Skills**:

- Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or in process of attaining will be considered an asset.
- Experience with QuickBooks will be considered an asset.
- Exceptional organizational skills and time management.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritize workflow deadlines and deal with multiple issues, including shifting priorities and schedules.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with a team player attitude, all while paying strict attention to detail.
- Familiarity with working regulations throughout Canada.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook are a must).
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal for interface with clients and co-workers.

**Location of Employment**:

- The position is based out of the Energy Wind & Renewables office in Indus AB.
- Applicants must be legally permitted to work in Canada.

**Hours of Work**:

- Normal hours of work 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday with a one-hour break for lunch.
- From time to time, you may be asked to be flexible in your hours of work depending on deadlines.

**Experience Required**:

- Preferential consideration will be given for persons with previous payroll and accounting experience.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
