Under the general supervision of a Human Resource Development Consultant, the Corporate Training Administrator registers employees for courses, prepares reports, coordinates the use of training facilities and equipment / software; ensures availability of up-to date resource materials; and performs other duties as required. The Corporate Training Administrator works cooperatively with all Human Resource Services (HRS) staff and provides general clerical support as required.
**As the **_Clerk B - Corporate Training Administrator_**_, _**you will**:
- Register civic employees for courses, seminars, and conferences using PeopleSoft.
- Administer, utilize, monitor and update systems and processes in support of the organizational training function.
- Prepare queries, reports and statistics from PeopleSoft database and ensures that all information is entered accurately.
- Provide front-line customer service (reception and telephone) for HRS.
- Provide information and respond to inquiries regarding corporate training, attends to requests from employees / trainers / consultants, and assists with classroom and online preparation and equipment set-up.
- Provide organizational support to Departmental Training Administrators regarding the Enterprise Learning System and recommends solutions.
- Perform general clerical duties including research and preparation of educational/ marketing materials and resources in support of HRS.
- Provide back up/ alternate administrative support functions within the Division as required.
- Act as a course assistant creating and sending out course links, logging facilitators into sessions, creating sign in sheets and surveys, providing support as required.
**Your education and qualifications include**:
- High school graduation with relevant training in business and office procedures or equivalent training and experience.
- Ability to attain working proficiency of PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Module within 3 months of assuming the duties of the position.
- Ability to enter and process training information into PeopleSoft with accuracy and timeliness.
- Demonstrated proficiency (Advanced) in the use of word processing software such as Microsoft Word.
- Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint, MS Teams, Zoom.
- Demonstrated ability to type accurately at 40 w.p.m. net.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others, internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships and to communicate effectively with others in person, over the telephone, and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and work under mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated acceptable attendance and job performance.
- Working knowledge of equipment associated with training.
- Thorough knowledge of services offered by HRPS.
