We are seeking kind, helpful Home Support Workers to assist our clients to live safe, healthy lives at home. Relieve-Me Home Support Workers will perform tasks to help clients feel safe, and supported by providing basic housekeeping tasks to help our clients stay at home as they age, heal, cope with their mental well being, disabilities, sickness, or surgery. Home Support Workers should have strong communication, planning, and organizational skills and be willing to meet the physical demands of the position and comply with all safety, and medical directions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Take care of clients by providing service not limited to: meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, running errands for client, grocery shopping, gardening with client and possible pet care.
- Provide home management services to clients with mental health disorders, the elderly, injured or limited mobility, and those suffering from chronic conditions.
- Be part of a health care team.
- **Qualifications**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of mental health disorders and experience working with such issues is (an asset)
- Caring, sympathetic approach to working with clients.
- Strong communication, listening, planning, housekeeping, and reasoning skills.
- Ability to handle physical demands, such as lifting or supporting clients and standing, walking, bending, or crawling for extended periods.
- Satisfactory vulnerable sector check.
- First aid CPR.
- Covid-19 Vaccination.
- Reliable vehicle. (an asset)
- Willingness to travel to different locations.
- Willingness to follow directions and adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and dietary, exercise, and medication plans.
- Excellent references
- Ability to work shifts.
- *Working in an environment where there may be smoke and, or pets may be required._

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
