Our team is supportive, caring, and driven to do things right for each other, and our customers. **ABOUT YOUR ROLE** In this role, the **Accounting Administrator** will work collaboratively with Financial Controller to deliver great projects for The Adored Beast Apothecary and all the related companies - Ensure accounts receivables are current including preparing customer invoices, receiving payments, completing deposits, following up with customers on past due invoices, and assisting with estimating as needed. - Ensure accounts payables expenses are controlled by receiving, processing, and verifying supplier invoices, entering pricing into software daily, and ensuring credits are received - Complete daily sales reconciliations - Prepare and submit payroll - Day-to-day bookkeeping entries using QuickBooks online - Comply with all provincial, and federal departments filings and ensure remittance requirements are accurate and paid on time (GST, PST, Payroll Tax, etc) - Ensure proper accounting records are kept and financial resources are controlled in line with governance, legal and regulatory requirements. - Resolving account discrepancies and performing account reconciliations - Provide support to all operating departments within the organization. - Build and maintain positive work relationships with company management, partners, colleagues, clients, and suppliers **QUALIFICATIONS**: - Post-secondary education degree in finance, accounting, or similar - Proven work experience as an **Accounting Administrator** or similar (at least 2 years) - Practical experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and spreadsheets (such as MS Excel) - A solid understanding of bookkeeping procedures including crediting and debiting in appropriate accounts, posting entries to ledger accounts, and in reconciling accounts - Strong attention to details - Ability to work independently, working quickly, safely, and efficiently - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Always keeps the highest standards of compliance and confidentiality **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $49,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Store discount **Experience**: - Accounting: 1 year (required) - QuickBooks: 1 year (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-07-31
