**Payroll Responsibilities**:
- Assist with CRA Remittances for payroll processing.
- Process payroll for the entire organization, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Collaborate closely with the HR department for employee onboarding and offboarding.
- Prepare Workers’ Compensation reports for remittance.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports.
- Enter billing data and manage accounts receivable.
- Oversee health and benefit enrollment and maintenance for employees.
**Accounting Responsibilities**:
- Assist with CRA Remittances for HST and corporate taxes.
- Handle full-cycle accounting, including processing transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Manage intercompany transfers (Due/To From) as required.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Journalize employee expense reimbursements in accounting software.
- Prepare journal entries for approval.
- Ensure all financial actions comply with local legal requirements and regulations.
- Assist with managing and maintaining the Chart of Accounts.
- Help prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in payroll and accounting functions.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and payroll procedures.
- Proficiency with accounting software and payroll systems.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other departments.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
**How to Apply**:
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
