Dealer Account Manager

What will you do?
- Is the primary contact for all Key Account relationships currently in the portfolio
- Ability to explore and identify new business opportunities though cold calls and face to face interactions to cultivate business partnerships
- Exceeds assigned growth targets and performance KPI’s by executing effective sales strategies
- Analyzes the competitive landscape and leverages knowledge to improve winning account sales strategy
- Develops, proposes and closes winning account sales strategies to generate new HVAC dealers and distributors to consistently deliver above target performance
- Provides regular reporting and updates on Dealer sales pipeline progress to be leveraged in forecasting and large deal implementation planning
- Provide exceptional partnership sales support including training and marketing initiatives, coordinating efforts with other account managers and marketing coordinator.
- Actively utilizes the CRM software to record sales pipeline and activity metrics to maximize performance outcomes
- Works cross-functionally with Reliance stakeholders to facilitate efficient implementation of new Dealer agreements and/or new opportunities secured through assigned existing Dealer customer portfolio.
- Participates in industry and customer related events/tradeshows to network, target new prospects, identify market trends and needs relevant to assigned Dealer customers
- Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of Reliance’s Dealer value proposition, including products and services offered and the value they create
- Other duties as required

What do you bring?
- Minimum 5+ years of consultative sales experience within a business to business environment
- 2+ years of Account Management and New Customer Acquisition experience
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field
- Demonstrated ability to encourage and lead traditional businesses in opening their minds to new partnership and product opportunities
- Proven track record of success exceeding sales quotas and sales metrics
- Networking and building relationships are an innate part of who you are
- You have an “Owner” mentality, managing your book of business as if your own
- You are a self-starter with drive and initiative (this is a primary work from home position)
- You are a keen negotiator with an eye for creating a win-win scenario
- You are a team player, willing to go the extra mile to ensure the mutual success of your team
- Results-driven individual who takes initiative and accountability to continuously improve business outcomes
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence without authority
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a cross functional business structure where collaboration and coordination between departments is critical to success
- Fluent in French and English (written and verbal) is a must
- Industry knowledge and/or experience working within HVAC industry is an asset
