On-Site Administrative Assistant
Upper Canada Consultants, a mid-sized municipal planning and engineering and consulting firm, has an immediate opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant in our St. Catharines office.

The office is located in St. Catharines within the beautiful Niagara Peninsula, which offers a moderate climate, numerous wineries and craft breweries, as well as Niagara Falls attractions and close proximity to entertainment and professional sports located in Toronto, ON and Buffalo, NY. Upper Canada Consultants has been operating in Niagara for over 40 years, with more than 80 percent of projects with repeat clients.
**Job Description**:
Roles
- Daily filing of records, invoices, documents, reports, drawings, and correspondence.
- Duplicating and binding to prepare drawings/document packages for submission.
- Reception duties include but are not limited to, answering the phone, taking messages, and interacting with the public and clients.
- Data entry into spreadsheets and other software.
- Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
- Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co
- ordinate the flow of information
- Sundry tasks as assigned by the Administrative Assistant.
**Qualifications**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Attention to accuracy and detail.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, but friendly, busy office.
- Working knowledge of Quickbooks software is an asset.
- Adaptable and prepared to undertake varying assignments of differing complexity or length.
- Diploma/Degree in Business Administration is considered an asset.
