**Job Description**:
**Site Security Management**
- Regularly cross-check all company-issued laptops against the master inventory, ensuring the laptop serial numbers match the corresponding laptop ID cards issued to employees
- Accurately log all approved visitors, clients, interviewees, and service personnel into the Visitor Management System upon arrival. Entry must be validated with an appropriate government-issued photo ID.
- Ensure that all personnel entering the building display a valid company-issued ID card visibly. Promptly stop and request anyone without a visible ID to wear it properly around their neck before proceeding further.
- Record all approved client and vendor laptops brought into the facility in the Visitor Management System, clearly noting both entry and exit times.
- Conduct random inspections of bags to prevent unauthorized items from entering the premises, including but not limited to USB flash drives, CDs, personal laptops, USB cords, and any form of weaponry.
- Perform and document a daily audit of all temporary access passes, including those issued to Visitors, Clients, Employees, Trainees, Service Providers, and Vendors. Ensure proper reconciliation of issued and returned passes
Qualifications:
- **Qualifications and Experience**:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prior Security Officer experience a plus but not necessary.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (CXC/GCE).
- Must pass a background check with no criminal record.
- Must have Jamaica issued ID, TRN, NIS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
- **Skills**:
- Ability to remain alert and attentive, detect suspicious activities, and remember details.
- Verbal and written communication for reporting incidents and liaising with other personnel.
- Ability to de-escalate potentially tense situations and resolve minor disputes.
- High ethical standards, trustworthiness, and professionalism in interactions.
- Ability to respond quickly to situations that may require intervention or emergency action.
**TRAININGS AND CERTIFICATION**
Must be trained and certified in basic firefighting, first aid, and CPR administration.
