Administrative Assistant/bookkeeper

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:00

**General Duties**
- Fully assist with all accounting duties, including general bookkeeping duties
- Accounts receivable - invoice preparation, reviewing accounts and processing payments, contacting past due accounts, communicating with customers
- Accounts payable - receiving and entering invoices, coordinate and circulate invoices to be approved by authorized personnel, monitor accounts to ensure payments are current
- Maintain numerous physical and electronic files to ensure full traceability for quality purposes
- Other duties and responsibilities as required, including some HR activities

**Qualifications**
- A diploma/ degree in accounting or business administration
- Two (2) years of experience with full cycle accounting is preferred
- Proficient word processing, writing, and communication skills
- Customer service and interpersonal skills
- Discretion, good judgment, organizational or management ability, initiative, and the ability to work independently
- Adaptability and versatility
- Strong organizational, quantitative and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to approach problems both logically and creatively
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform multiple assignments without immediate supervision

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
