Company Description

Spectrum Health Care is hiring a **Human Resources Manager** to join our team to support our Toronto and York region offices. This is a hands-on role that will lead the branch HR teams and provide full cycle Human Resources support and management of day-to-day HR activities by supporting employee relations, leading recruitment initiatives, managing and maintaining employee data and acting as a support and advisor to management. This is an in office role requiring travel between our Toronto (Downtown) and Markham offices.

**Job Description**:

- Act as the HR Business Partner for the branches by identifying and providing HR solutions to business issues
- Lead and motivate a team of HR professionals to provide HR support and act as resources for all Spectrum team members ensuring that our culture and company values are role modeled in every interaction and situation and that business objectives are met
- Collaborate with Managers and provide recommendations for employee relations issues and progressive discipline management
- Manage branch recruitment including high-volume recruitment of PSWs and weekly onboarding of new hires to meet KPIs
- Responsible for supporting branch recruitment of nurse and office staff
- Provide suitable modified work to employees as required under Workplace Safety and Insurance Board
- Organize and facilitate appropriate training and development programs for staff to improve skills and knowledge
- Membership on the Joint Health and Safety Committee
- Investigate and resolve complaints and policy non-compliance
- Responsible for supporting the branch in executing HR programs and solutions
- Manage the input and maintenance of accurate employee data
- Manage employee changes, new hires and terminations in partnership with Finance (Payroll) and IT

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
- CHRP designation preferred
- 4+ years’ progressive experience in a Human Resources role with experience in unionized settings
- 2+ years’ experience in managing high volume recruitment
- Experience managing a team of HR professionals
- Ability to travel between branch offices - Toronto and Markham
