We are a multidisciplinary clinic that provides Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Medical Assessment services. We are currently looking for an **Administrative Assistant** to join our friendly & professional staff today. We are looking for a highly motivated person whom will be working closely with Patients, Doctors, Adjusters, and Lawyers on a daily bases so strong communication skills is a must.

**Job Requirements**:

- Highly organized and strong multi-tasking capabilities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficiency with MS Office - Excel, Outlook.
- Positive, courteous and confidence attitude.
- Comfortable working with people in a medical/wellness environment (patients, lawyers/ insurance companies).
- Knowledge with Universal Scheduling software is an asset.
- Experience in administrative or insurance claims is an asset.
- Experience in Medical Rehab field is an asset.
- Knowledge of accident benefits (insurance claims) is an asset.
- Knowledge of computer programs is an asset.
- Additional languages is an asset.

**Responsibilities**:
As a member of our Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients and ensuring tasks are being completed in a timely matter. Your duties will include:

- Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner in person or on the phone and transferring/ taking messages.
- Schedule appointments and communicate with administrative staff, management, and other health professionals.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for regular company procedures
- Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
- Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
- Perform other office duties as assigned
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Update patient health records, including admissions and insurance data

**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
