** Job Summary**:
As the Administrative Assistant reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible to manage the day to day administrative needs of the Distribution Centre as well as the key components of the Business unit. Professionalism, time management, and organization skills are key attributes for this role.

** Specific Responsibilities**:

- Financial components using SAP (budget management, PO management, invoicing, vendor payment follow up)
- Compiling and monitoring payroll - Kronos time and attendance system
- Coordinate and facilitate Warehouse recruitment, orientation and onboarding for new employees
- Schedule and attendance management for Warehouse Employees
- Processing and monitoring workplace injuries, disability or alternate claims for leave of absence
- Managing and tracking the vacation and time off request process for all DC employees (union and non-union)
- Interpretation and execution of all components of the Collective Bargaining agreement
- Relationship management and correspondence with local Union Representatives
- Health and Safety oversight (H&S committee, Corporate Wellness programs; liase with provincial Occupational Health and Safety representatives)
- Coordinate and support corporate and local Employee engagement and Community initiatives
- Site security oversight - support Operations Lead on this component
- Collaborating with Peers as well as Regional and Home office contacts on tasks and corporate initiatives.

** Position Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience
- Certificate or diploma in Administration is an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP platform
- Experience with payroll and/or time recording software is an asset (ADP experience preferred)
- Flexible and able to meet deadlines in a dynamic, high demand environment
- Superior analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to function independently using professional confidentiality.
