**Position Summary**

The Technical Records Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of aircraft maintenance records. The role involves processing, organizing, and maintaining both digital and physical records in accordance with aviation regulations and company procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform thorough reviews and verifications of aircraft maintenance records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with aviation regulations
- Process aircraft maintenance records using company software as required
- Organize and prepare comprehensive work packages for upcoming maintenance, ensuring all required documentation is included and easily accessible
- Upload and maintain records in digital systems
- Organize, file, and archive physical records in accordance with company procedures and regulatory standards
- Assist in preparing records for internal and external audits
- Identify compliance issues or discrepancies and collaborate with the relevant teams to make necessary corrections
- Report any discrepancies or missing records to Planning and Technical Records Manager
- Respond to requests for technical records from internal departments in a timely manner
- Follow standardized procedures for records management to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in documentation and report them to Planning and Technical Records Manager
- Support less experienced team members by sharing expertise and best practices in technical records management
- Provide administrative support to the team as needed to ensure smooth operations

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma and a Certificate in Aviation Maintenance or Records Management; or high school diploma and one year of related experience in aircraft records management, maintenance tracking software, or a related aviation role
- Proficiency in using aircraft maintenance tracking software and other record keeping systems
- Basic knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations and Transport Canada legislation as it relates to aircraft records
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with records management software is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
