**Job Description**:
Reporting to the Regional Credit Manager, the Office Administrator/Credit Support is responsible for handling incoming calls and directing as necessary, setting up new accounts in our systems, sourcing credit reports, maintain both electronic and manual filing systems, receive daily mail, releasing orders on credit holds, process daily deposits.
To experience success in the position, the Credit Support/Admin:
- Self Starter
- Well organized
- Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word
- Effective team member with the desire and ability to support the company and the team in all activities
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Processing incoming mail
- Setting up new approved accounts (from the approved folder), transfer accounts, cash sales, notify other depts as necessary
- Scanning/moving new accounts and other doc’s to the electronic folder
- Maintaining a hard copy file for the guarantee documents
- Updating customer files
- Deposit prep, cheque scanning and daily balancing
- POS payments, processing and daily deposit
- Answering phones
- Review and manage 519 E-docs file
- Process, file and follow up monthly credit dept expenses
- Greet customers and take payments (cheque and POS)
- Cheque requisition follow up
- Manage inventory for office supplies
- Special projects
- Perform other tasks as requested by the Regional Credit Manager and/or Credit Manager
**Qualifications**:
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, highly organized, customer focused
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
- Ability to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- College and/or University degree - preferably in a finance or business-related field of study
- English language fluently spoken/written
- Must be dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction, and must be able to improve performance through management feedback
**Preferred Skills**
- Previous experience with or knowledge of plumbing and building products sold at the Profit Centre
- Knowledge of the construction industry
- Experience using Infor M3
Ability to commute/relocate: Position is in Surrey/Port Kells reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Full-time position, Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
