**About the Position**:
The National Sales Manager is responsible for achieving organizational sales objectives through the management of existing company sales force across Canada

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Overseeing local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns
- Planning and directing the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives
- Directing and coordinating all sales activities locally and regionally
- Preparing sales budgets and projections and approving expenditures
- Tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics
- Handling and resolving customer complaints regarding a product or service
- Serving as the face of the organization to internal and external partners
- Making data-informed decisions to drive sales performance and resource allocation
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts
- Setting sales quotas and goals for the sales team
- Overseeing and directing performance of the sales team
- Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities
- Defining and executing territory sales plans

**Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements**
- Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management to manage the sales process and forecast sales
- Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
- Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy
- Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives
- Planning, organization and problem-solving skills
- Advanced time management skills
- Experience using CRM tools - Preferably SAP
- Glass industry experience is preferred
- Proficiency in both English and French
- Bachelor degree is a plus

**Work Environment**
- Travel expectation 50%
- Chemicals, dust, pollen and other typical airborne particulate matter are present within the atmosphere of the production floor and may create some odors in the plant. The Company, in an effort to provide its employees with a safe and healthy working environment, limits exposure to chemicals through written procedures, engineering controls and PPE.
- While the chemical exposure and odors are under acceptable levels set by OSHA and the WCB, they nevertheless, can be smelled and are handled according to the company’s hazardous communication program.
