Job Overview:
**Duties**:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment-related legislation and ensures compliance with government regulations.
- Plans and conducts new employee orientations to foster a positive attitude toward company goals and an effective hand-off to operations.
- Prepare and process payroll using ADP, while adhering to established pay cycles and timelines.
- Maintain accurate employee related records such as new hires, changes in salary, promotions, leaves, and terminations on internal HRIS and benefits portal.
- Facilitates and documents employee engagement meetings.
- Responds to employee inquiries of moderate complexity regarding policies, programs, and procedures.
- Manages non-exempt recruiting activities and exempt recruiting through first-level supervisory roles, including organizing and executing job fairs.
- Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate resolution.
- Manages leave of absence process, unemployment claims and hearings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Post Secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
- Proven experience in HR functions such as high level talent acquisition, training development, payroll, leave management, and employee relation
- Familiarity with ADP payroll
- Strong understanding of Canadian employment related Legislation
- Ability to adapt to change and support organizational growth
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$83,000.00 per year
