Our team is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic **HR Generalist** reporting to the General Manager to join us and provide support to our organization **WHAT YOU WILL DO** **Responsibilities**: - Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws/regulations; create, maintain, and update HR policies and procedures, and audit staff to ensure policy adherence. - Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions, and manage end-to-end recruitment process, including interviewing, reference checks, offer letters, and onboarding new employees. - Administer the employee payroll and benefits program, assist employees with benefit inquiries and resolutions, and stay current on industry trends. - Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, and ensure compliance with certifications (forklift, first aid, etc.) - Assist in the development and implementation of regular reviews and performance measurement systems, and provide guidance to managers on disciplinary actions as necessary. - Other duties as required. **WHO YOU ARE** Do you have excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work with a diverse team? Do you have a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field? Do you have 3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices?
