**SUMMARY OF POSITION**

The Operations Manager Facilities Safety and Support Services is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing a $8 million portfolio of subcontractors, with a primary focus on fire safety, facilities management, and maintenance operations. This role ensures seamless daily operation of all facilities under EasyPark’s management, providing strategic oversight and operational excellence. The position directly manages Security Supervisor, Maintenance supervisors and a team of two maintenance technicians, ensuring optimal performance of critical systems and assets. The Operations Manager also oversees data collection and financial reporting to support budgeting and strategic decision-making.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**MANAGE FIRE SAFETY AND SECURITY OPERATIONS**:

- Ensure compliance with all fire safety regulations, including routine inspections, system maintenance, and emergency response readiness.
- Oversee the implementation and enforcement of security protocols, ensuring subcontracted personnel adhere to the highest standards of operational integrity and safety.

**MANAGE MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS**:

- Oversee the comprehensive maintenance program, with an emphasis on preventive and corrective maintenance across all facilities.
- Direct the maintenance supervisor, ensuring timely completion of repair work, system upkeep, and emergency maintenance.
- Manage maintenance schedules, ensuring regular inspections, testing, and repairs of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire suppression, lighting, etc.).
- Ensure inventory management and procurement for maintenance-related supplies, equipment, and tools.

**FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND REPORTING**:

- Develop and manage the operating budgets for all managed services, identifying cost-saving measures without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Track expenditures, ensuring accurate reporting on operational costs, labor, and materials.
- Provide monthly and quarterly financial reports, highlighting areas for budget optimization.

**VENDOR AND SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT**:

- Lead contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and ongoing relationship management with subcontractors, ensuring services align with EasyPark's operational goals and budget constraints.
- Monitor subcontractors’ performance in maintenance, janitorial, and fire safety services, ensuring timely and cost-effective service delivery.

**DATA-DRIVEN DECISION MAKING**:

- Implement and oversee data collection processes to support operational and financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely information for decision-making.
- Analyze maintenance trends, performance data, and repair histories to drive improvements in service delivery, maintenance scheduling, and regulatory compliance.

**SKILLS**
- Proven leadership and team management abilities, with experience overseeing maintenance teams and supervisors.
- Expertise in maintenance management, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with experience managing complex operations across multiple locations.
- Advanced proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations, facility management best practices, and vendor management.
- Proficiency with ticketing and work order systems like Zendesk or MaintainX, along with data analysis and reporting tools.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities or operations management, with direct experience managing maintenance teams.
- Knowledge of fire safety regulations, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facilities management protocols is highly advantageous.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Valid driver’s license (Class 5) with a clean driving abstract required.
- Occasional travel required for site inspections, professional development, and contractor management.
- Must be able to lift to 20 kg and handle the physical demands of on-site inspections.

The Operations Manager, Facilities Safety and Support Services, must be available for extended and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call rota for emergency situations. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of balancing multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and financial requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
