Winnipeg, Canada GME Excavation Sewer and Water Full time

**Job Summary**

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Project Manager/Estimator will be responsible for project supervision, establishing preliminary construction schedules, procurement of materials, coordinating subcontractors, reconciling quantities, preparing progress billings, as well as the implementation of the HSE Manual and project safety plans. The Project Manager role will also be accountable for completing quantity take-offs, preparing cost estimates, communicating with crews and sub-trades to determine best work practices, as well as financial needs to complete the project.

**Duties**
- Perform quantities takeoffs
- Perform detailed estimates from tender documents
- Liaison with clients to ensure complete submittals and documentation is completed.
- Work closely with site superintendents and clients to ensure construction schedule and budgets are met
- Maintain project schedules, including tracking time and materials for claims
- Coordinating project submittals
- Tracking and documenting project cost reports
- Complete procurement of construction materials and supplies
- Perform detailed estimates from tender documents

**Qualifications**
- Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft office, B2W
- Proficient in reading drawings and performing quantity take-offs
- Excellent written and verbal skills - able to communicate in a timely and concise manner
- Strong construction knowledge and experience with estimating, project coordination and management
- Ability to be a strong leader who is able to build relationship with both internal and external stakeholders
- Impeccable organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Foster teamwork and always work efficiently with others to set goals
- A confident decision maker who keeps the best interest of the organization top of mind

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
