We are seeking a skilled, motivated Estimator/Project Manager to join our growing team. They will have the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions to ensure project timelines are met. Coming from a strong estimating and business development background, you must have:

- Keen attention to detail

- generate purchase orders
- track all materials used
- estimate costs of materials, labour, and equipment
- Coordinate with sub-trades regularly
- Estimate and organize change orders
- Assist the project managers in executing projects
- Review, understand and evaluate tender documents and drawings, visualize the work entailed, and prepare a detailed plan to execute work in an efficient manner
- Understand the bid preparation process, including quantity take-off and closing procedures
- Adeptly calculate material, labour and equipment costs
- Prepare schedules and track progress
- Establish strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors and employees
- Read blueprints and analyze all other applicable documents to prepare estimates
- Present estimates to clients in a timely and polite manner
- Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:
Must be proficient with MS Office, especially Excel

Proven ability to lead a team

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to operate independently or with a team

Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills

Must be familiar with a wide range of worksites, cost structures, and timelines

You should also possess:
Highly effective negotiation, communication and conflict resolution skills.

Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.

A high sense of urgency, while maintaining maximum accuracy.

A college diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or an acceptable combination of education and related experience.

A minimum of 3 years estimating and project management experience.

A valid drivers’ license.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
