**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Estimating and job costing, including attending pre-bid walkthrough meetings at project sites.
- Review, understand, and evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications in a timely manner.
- Understand the bid preperation process, including quantity take-off and closing procerdures. Accurately calculate material, labour, and equipment costs.
- Ensure projects are promptly completed by deadline.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to read and comprehend construction drawings, purchase orders, and contracts.
- General knowledge of estimating techniques, including cost control and material pricing.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines while maintaining maximum accuracy.
- Strong desire to learn and high intrinsic motivation
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, and or acceptable combination of education and related experience.
- Previous knowledge of asbestos, mould remediation and demolition considered an asset
- Ongoing training provided
- Criminal record check
