This is a full-time permanent job opportunity working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for a Project Estimator to provide budget support for all new and renovation projects across the portfolio, developing Request for Quotes (FRQ’s) and tendering work on new builds and renovation projects. The work includes but not limited to:

- Analyze project plans and specifications and put together cost estimates
- Consult and collect quotes from contractors and suppliers
- Prepare budget from pre-construction designs and develop multiple alternative plans, schedules, and solutions
- Undertake and/or manage material take-offs
- Research, assess and document historical cost data, create summary reports and develop guidelines for future estimates
- Participate in the construction set-up after the bid is secured.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:

- College, Trade or Technical Degree/Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Estimate, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of direct estimating experience

**Knowledge, skills, and abilities**:

- Excellent organization, time management, prioritizing skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
- Proven attention to details
- Technical knowledge of modern construction practices, techniques, and equipment, understanding of construction documents
- Good knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing
- Strong computer background including experience with MS Office and related estimating software
