**Job Title**: Business Development Manager in Commercial Construction
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial construction market, including building strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other industry partners.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and expand our customer base.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the commercial construction industry.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and leads.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our services and capabilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators, project managers, and engineers, to develop project proposals and pricing strategies.
- Lead negotiations with clients and partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Achieve quarterly retention goals for new and existing clients.
- Manage and update the company's CRM system to track leads, sales, and customer interactions.
- Analyze and report on sales performance metrics to management, including revenue growth, lead conversion rates, and customer acquisition costs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements to inform business development strategies and identify potential new market opportunities.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development or sales in the commercial construction industry.
- Proven track record of generating new business and driving revenue growth.
- Strong knowledge of the commercial construction market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Experience developing and implementing strategic sales plans and marketing campaigns.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
