Since 2004, Paradox has been providing industrial access matting solutions and ground reinforcement for the pipeline, utility, municipal, general construction, and energy sectors.

**What You’ll Do at Paradox**:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the executive assistant provides support and co-ordination to the Leadership team performing a wide variety of high-level administrative functions which require considerable confidentiality, initiative, mature and independent judgement. The executive assistant must exercise judgement and handle sensitive information in a tactful and confidential manner, effectively prioritize competing demands within tight deadlines and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Act as point of contact between the Director and internal/external clients.
- Keeping the Director’s calendar up-to-date, including adding events, rescheduling appointments and providing daily briefings
- Acting as the gatekeeper for internal and external contacts, including vendors, colleagues, clients, and customers
- Conducting research and creating reports on various topics based on the needs of the executive
- Keeping important information and documents organized physically, and electronically
- Maintaining a high degree of discretion and confidentiality

**What You’ll Bring to Paradox**:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Post Secondary Diploma/Degree in Office/Business Administration, or related field
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Executive Assistant role.
- An understanding of the Construction and Oil and Gas industries.
- High level of proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

- High level of professionalism and demonstrated ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly
- Superior time management skills and multitasking skills with a strong sense of urgency under mínimal supervision.
