Acheson, Canada Northgate Industries Ltd. Full time

Under the direction and leadership of the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Assistant assumes responsibility for enforcing good manufacturing practices. They will ensure work tasks are performed safely in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and company policies and that work is performed with a high level of quality and timeliness.

**Key Accountabilities**

− Inspect and check the quality of buildings/structures
− Keeping a detail records of defects
− Analyze products
− Oversee procedures
− Process Control
− Control Charts
− Follow all safety procedures
− Support continual improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System as directed by the QC Manager
− Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Experience**

− Stand or walk for long periods of time
− Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time
− Ability to lift up to 25kg
− Climbing stairs/ladders regularly
− Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, and sharp hand tools
− Understanding of the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP’s) process and administration
− Understanding of the CSA Z277 Standards is an asset
− Computer literate with superior document control skills

**Skills**

− Annual monitoring of NCR documents to indicate trending
− Identifies process improvement by analyzing Information.
− Quantifies the execution of strategic planning.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
