As an Administrative Assistant at Academy of Learning, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities. You will provide administrative support to multiple teams and assist in various tasks to enhance efficiency and productivity. Key responsibilities include:
- Organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
- Maintaining and updating databases, records, and files.
- Assisting with all student inquiries.
- Coordinating office supplies and equipment maintenance.
- Performing general clerical duties, such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.
- Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with special projects and initiatives as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or relevant role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
**Salary**: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Education**:
- DCS / DEC (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- North York, ON M3J 3K6 (preferred)
Work Location: In person
