This is a B2B hybrid farmer/hunter role that is accountable to bringing in new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing accounts. The focus market segment for this role will be to further develop and grow the custom home builders, designer / renovation / independent builders, kitchen & cabinetry, realtors, insurance companies up to local offices/facilities (bars/restaurants etc.) channels for The Brick / Midnorthern Appliance Commercial Division.
You will be joining a proactive and high-caliber sales team that focuses on customer experience and providing solutions. You are expected to deliver against your KPI through sales consultancy to understand the business needs of your prospects / customers, including helping them identify their undiscovered needs from the present state to the future state, to ensure customer satisfaction before, throughout and after the sale.
**Responsibilities**:
- Proactively prospect for new business opportunities and onboard net new accounts.
- Efficiently organize time spent on outside sales development, and any in showroom customer meetings as required at one of our design centres.
- Enhance relationship with existing accounts to identify and secure future business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives and Account Managers in providing quotes in a timely manner to customers and ensure accuracy of details communicated.
- Provide product specifications and generate project quotes.
- Understand and stay on top of quotes and orders together with Inside Sales and Account Management teams.
- Process and finalize sale on POS, including collecting payment and/or deposit for orders with a later delivery date as needed.
- Maintain an updated Salesforce log of your prospects and key accounts.
- Meet performance targets and growth plans in co-operation with the GTA Sales Manager
- Liaison with the commercial sales customer care team to deliver exceptional service and deliver a Best in Class overall customer experience
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education in Business or Marketing with minimum 3 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience or minimum 5 years of B2B outbound consultative sales and customer service experience in lieu of post-secondary education.
- A clear understanding of **“true salesmanship”** that goes way beyond simply moving products or order taking.
- Knowledge of Territory Management with the ability to create and execute strategies within assigned territory to deliver against sales targets.
- Outstanding Time Management skills.
- Having a “**growth mindset and sense of accountability”** are an absolute must.
- Ability to travel within assigned territories on a daily basis.
