**Overview**
We are seeking an innovative and dedicated **Human Resources Coordinator** who could be you This is an opportunity to be at the core of Oxford College’s HR activities, essential to supporting our team’s growth and development.
**As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will**:
- Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless integration for new team members.
- Maintain and update employee records and databases in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support HR initiatives by organizing and facilitating training sessions and development programs.
- Provide guidance and information on HR policies, benefits, and procedures to staff.
- Assist in employee relations, responding to inquiries and helping resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare and update HR documentation, including policies, handbooks, and process guidelines.
- Track and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, as well as applicable labour laws and regulations.
- Organize employee engagement events and initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
- Contribute to HR projects and provide administrative support to ensure effective operations.
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a coordinator capacity.
- Knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.
- Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with HRIS systems is a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to supporting team members and solving challenges.
