Human Resources Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct the full recruitment cycle, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating interviews with the HR Director.
3. Conduct new employee orientations and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed.
4. Accurately update and maintain up-to-date employee files, records, documentation, and HR databases.
5. Calculating employees' biweekly timesheets and working hours.
6. Assist in addressing employee concerns and issues, escalating them to the HR Director when necessary.
7. Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as local, provincial, and federal regulations.
8. Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings.
9. Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP designation is an asset
2. 2 years of experience in HR or a related field is requested.
3. Strong knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
4. Understanding of local regulations, labor laws, and disciplinary procedures.
5. Proficient in MS Office; HRIS systems experience is a plus
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
8. Ability to multitask and produce results in a fast-paced environment
9. Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
10. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.50-$27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 - 40 per week
