We are a construction and development company seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Estimator** to join our dynamic pre-construction team in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates
- Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
- Develop and maintain databases of costs and pricing structures
- Work closely with Project Managers, Architects, and Engineers to refine project scopes and budgets
- Prepare and present cost reports to management and clients
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies
- Monitor actual costs against estimates during project execution

Job Requirements:

- 3+ years of estimating experience in the construction industry, preferably in residential or mixed-use developments
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, building codes, and construction processes
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage Estimating, or similar)
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is an asset
