For 30 years, Peak Construction Group has been providing quality construction management services. As we continue to expand our work on exceptional and exciting projects throughout Canada and the USA, we are seeking driven and dynamic individuals to join the Peak team.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated estimator with strong communication skills to assist with pre-construction budgeting and tendering of projects with reputable, long-term clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work.
- Solicit budgetary and firm quotations from subcontractors
- Communicate scope of work, schedule, and methodology with subcontractors
- Communicate with clients and consultants to clarify project scope
- Perform quantity take-offs
- Delegate take-offs and other tasks to junior estimators
- Develop complete project budgets base on QTO’s and historical data
- Evaluate subcontractor pricing
- Document and archive information related to the estimate
- Compile budgets and hard bid submissions
- Connect with and shortlist subcontractors for opportunities in new markets
- Develop and update subcontractor database

**Required Education, skills and Experience**:

- Building technology diploma (2 year minimum) or civil engineering degree
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Ability to read, understand and provide accurate analysis of construction contract documents and drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, specifically Excel, and estimating software
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
