North Vancouver, Canada Lobby Restaurant & Lounge Full time

The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is looking for a hands on restaurant leader to join our team and elevate the exciting atmosphere and professional service of our restaurant and lounge.

Located at the Pier Hotel at the Pier (North Vancouver) just steps away from Lonsdale Quay and the Seabus Terminal in North Vancouver Historic Shipyard, The Lobby Restaurant and Lounge is well-situated for walk-in and return clientele.

**Specific Duties and/or Job Responsibilities**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience and proven ability to manage and maintain the highest of service standards
- Create a vibrant atmosphere in our establishment to encourage repeat business
- Develop and lead a front-of-house team for optimal guest service standards
- Focus on revenue growth and maximizing financial performance
- Monitors the performance of the restaurant and the quality against the competition
- Possess a keen eye for efficient, fast and thoughtful service
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
- Promotes the restaurant on the North Shore
- Responsible for monthly bar inventory and organization
- Collaborate in seasonal cocktail curation and other service offerings
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a Hotel/Restaurant or related profession
- Must have a passion for delivering outstanding guest service
- Knowledge of wines, spirits bar operations
- Familiar with Micros POS computer terminals and Microsoft Office
- Bartending experience as asset
- Possesses a Food Safe and Serving it Right Certificate
