Pier 7 Restaurant & Bar is currently looking for an extraordinary Restaurant Manager. We are a 5 minute walk from the Sea bus Terminal and located in the new Shipyards District of North Vancouver. Pier 7 Restaurant & Bar is an upscale casual restaurant focused on an energetic dining experience.

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the restaurant. We are seeking a passionate and inspired leader that will deliver memorable and welcoming service from beginning to end.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement policies and procedures to achieve high levels of excellence in all aspects of food, beverage and guest experience.
- Lead your team, promote teamwork, provide training & mentorship, and manage day to day operations.
- Drives revenues, service quality, day to day efficiency and best practices to reduce and or maintains cost.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including opening,

closing, weekends and holidays and month end inventory.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum 5+ years experience in an upscale restaurant management position
- Proven ability to manage and maintain the highest level of service excellence and profitability.
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Well educated with vast knowledge in spirits & wine (WSET Level 1+ an asset)
- Sales Driven
- Play a key role during service and peak times including hands-on, leadership responsibilities.
- Motivate employees to greater levels of productivity
- Introduce periodic staff incentive programs to increase sales & knowledge of product
- Passion for the industry
- Poise in a busy environment
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
- Knowledge of restaurant financials an asset
- Experience with Micros & Clover systems an asset
- A thorough knowledge of provincial and local regulations for food and beverage.
- Level 1 Food Safe and Serving It Right Certificates.
- Must already possess necessary documentation to work legally in Canada.
