Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food industry management, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, managing restaurant functions, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Previous experience in restaurant management, food handling, and customer service is essential to succeed in this position.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
  • Manage staff scheduling, interviewing, hiring, and training to build a cohesive team
  • Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Handle cash transactions, POS systems (including Micros POS), and cash handling procedures accurately
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely stock replenishment
  • Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Lead team management efforts to motivate staff, improve performance, and foster a positive work environment
  • Oversee food presentation, quality control, and adherence to recipes and portion sizes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant according to safety standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and menu updates

Skills

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
  • Excellent team management skills with experience supervising staff in a food service setting
  • Ability to conduct interviews, train new employees, and develop team members' skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
  • Knowledge of food handling regulations and health code compliance
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Experience in hotel or barista environments is a plus but not required
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on hospitality excellence
