**Volunteer Position: Social Media Coordinator**

**About Us**:
Single Women In Motherhood (S.W.I.M.) Training Program is a not-for-profit organization that supports single mothers in achieving their full financial, emotional, and intellectual potential. SWIM has been a pillar in the London Middlesex Community for almost 20 years and has worked with over 1,000 single mothers. As a not-for-profit agency SWIM relies on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. SWIM is now looking to expand its team of Volunteers

SWIM Is committed to promoting, providing and protecting a positive, supportive and safe environment for all its members. We aim to equip every member of the organization with the tools, knowledge and safe environment to operate free of phobias and discrimination. We as an organization are committed to provide an anti-racism environment and the elimination of systemic discrimination.

**Position Description**:
As a marketing coordinator you will be responsible for all marketing opportunities.You are expected to stay informed about the organization while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans.. You will be in charge of advertising S.W.I.M’s brand through social media and interpersonal communications.. Other duties include, following up with volunteer duties and maintaining volunteer intake procedures.

**Position Requirements**:

- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Interpersonal skills, leadership skills, problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Google Drive, Gmail, Microsoft Office, internet browsers
- Develop and execute the plans for a marketing campaign for the projects.
- Create posters
- Social Media posting and advertising (Facebook and Instagram)
- Create drafting reports
- Create content for the projects and the SWIM Social Media
- Overseeing a company website content

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $1.00-$2.00 per year

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Marketing: 1 year (preferred)
