The Manager of Organizational Learning and Development, reporting to the Director, Organizational Development Services, is a new position resulting from the unique and exciting fusion of NAIT’s Instructional Development function and the Organizational Learning and Development team.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Leadership and Planning**: Develop and implement strategic learning and development plans that align with institutional goals. Analyze current trends, assess organizational needs, and design comprehensive strategies to address these needs.
- **Team Management and Development**: Manage and develop a diverse team that will include a variety of positions including specialists and admin roles. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to foster a inclusive, collaborative and innovative environment.
- **Program Oversight and Implementation**: Oversee the administration and execution of instructional and organizational training programs. Ensure these programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards with demonstrable impact.
- **Stakeholder Collaboration**: Engage in regular meetings and joint projects with academic leaders, other leaders in HR, and external partners to ensure cohesive and integrated learning strategies.
- **Innovation and Accountability**: Drive innovation in learning practices, manage complex challenges, and ensure accountability within the team and programs.

- Creating new and better ways for the organization to be successful through iterative experimentation, using successes and failures as growth opportunities.
- Maneuver comfortably through complex processes and people-related organizational dynamics, including handling conflict situations effectively.
- Skillfully build new partnerships to achieve shared successes by communicating clearly and timely, meeting your audience where they are at.
- Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments while also rebounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations.
**Qualifications**:
- A related undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in formal or project-based leadership.
- Experience in developing and administering organizational learning systems, programs, and initiatives.

**Remuneration**: $99,247.46 - $131,487.46 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. (O21 - MGMT).
