The Department will consider applicants that have expertise in teaching in areas that include but are not limited to introductory and advanced courses in Management and Organizational Behaviour (e.g., Introduction to Management, Contemporary Organizational Behaviour Theory, Business Consulting, Business Ethics), with an opportunity to develop and recommend potential electives. Pedagogical innovation is highly appreciated (e.g., experiential learning, community-engaged learning, multidisciplinary teams, technology-enhanced learning). Also, applicants must demonstrate evidence of a research record and a developed research plan. Professional experience in the field of Management or a related field is beneficial.
The Department of Management and Organizations has full-time 17 faculty and offers: Human Resources Management major; Management major; Innovation and Entrepreneurship minor; Property Management minor; and, Honours Designation in the Bachelor of Commerce.
You will teach a variety of undergraduate Management and Organizational Behaviour courses, pursue academic and/or community-based scholarship, and will work collaboratively to contribute service to the operation of the University.
You must hold or be near completion of a Ph.D. in Management and/or Organizational Behaviour. You should provide an ongoing program of academic research in Management, Organizational Behaviour or a related field, and evidence of outstanding teaching ability and a demonstrated primary commitment to undergraduate teaching.
You will submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching dossier (including a teaching philosophy and recent teaching evaluations), and statement of research interests.
