We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and strong administrative skills for our Human Resources Assistant role. Reporting to the Director of HR, the HR Assistant will provide support with the day-to-day operations of the HR department. The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support, maintaining personnel files, and assisting in full-cycle recruitment. The HR Assitant will provide clarity to staff on employee benefits and maintain the benefits administrative management system.

**Essential Qualifications and Required Skills**:

- Post-Secondary diploma in Human Resources, Administration, or a combination of education, training, and experience
- Ongoing learning specifically related to Human Resources (e.g. workshops, learning roundtables, networking, mentoring, and other methods to remain up-to-date in the HR industry)
- 2+ years experience as an HR Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position
- Experience executing HR practices adhering to the Employment Standards Act of BC and Alberta
- Experience maintaining FOIPPA while handling confidential business matters and information
- Experience working with people with diverse abilities and understanding their needs/gaps in a work environment
- A COVID 19 vaccine passport
