Inside Sales and Design Assistant

**MAIN DUTIES**:
**Sales & estimating**
- Meet with customers, including homebuilders, homeowners, designers, architects, etc., in our showroom to provide design consultations and material recommendations.
- Assist other sales team members and follow through on the remainder of the sales process by compiling and preparing estimates and drawings.
- Provide shop drawings, sketches, photographs as required to supplement estimates and conversations with customers.
- Perform consistent follow-up with customers on all active estimates, and record feedback received.

**Project managing and operational duties**
- Assist with and prepare 3D drawings utilizing CAD/Fusion 360 software, to facilitate communication and visualization.
- Maintain communication with clients and vendors.
- Process work orders for material manufacturing.
- Work with Production and Installation departments to set daily, weekly and monthly schedules.
- Manage service call/ warranty requests and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Manage internet driven sales software such as SupplyPro, BuilderTrend and ProCore to retrieve new information, maintain communication and upload bids.

**Administrative and general**
- Manage the Google business page and Google Reviews
- Update social media pages with new photographs of completed jobs, progress pictures, new items and other interesting stair and railing information. This also includes coordinating with the photographer and preparing showroom visuals.
- Complete reporting and job paperwork and submit for invoicing.
- Assist in special event planning, i.e. open house, customer appreciation day, business lunches, company events.
- Maintain clean and orderly workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Reflect the company image in a professional, friendly and courteous way.

**Education/ Experience**
- Post Secondary Education (marketing, architectural studies, design, sales, drafting etc.)
- Sales and customer service experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- drafting or design: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
