**Inside Sales**
Alta Tube and Bar is a growing steel tube and bar distribution company. We are looking for an energetic, keen person to join our office in an inside sales role. We are a dynamic company looking for the right fit to join our team
- **Responsibilities**_
- Responds to incoming calls from customers and assists them with their requests
- Able to work in a FAST-paced environment
- Provides accurate quotes to clients
- Processes orders received; works closely with the warehouse team to ensure orders are met
- Performs cold calls to expand customer base
- Maintains key relationships with existing customers
- Develop innovative and non-traditional means to increase sales and better serve customers
- Assists with purchasing materials
- Cross-trained in warehouse duties to cover vacation (receiving, cutting, shipping orders)
- **Qualifications**_
- 2-5 years sales experience, preferably in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of carbon/alloy grades.
- Understand Steel grades, and processes, understand OD, ID, and Wall calculations of Tubing
- Energetic and customer service focused
- Quick learner with flexibility to assist others
- Keen interest in working with people, developing relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met
- Self-motivated; able to work with frequent interruptions
- Intermediate knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
